• Do NOT use the hearing aid together with a mobile phone, as the ra-
dio waves of the mobile phone may cause background noise or a loss
of volume.
• Do NOT wear the hearing aid while applying cosmetics (e.g. makeup,
hairspray, perfume, or sunscreen).
• Do NOT wear the hearing aid while undergoing shortwave therapy or medi-
cal treatments that are subject to strong radio frequency or magnetic fields.
• Take care when operating the switch and controller. Do NOT press too
firmly.
• Do NOT insert any sharp objects into the microphone opening.
• Do NOT touch the magnets of the hearing aid as this may damage the
device.
• Do NOT touch the inside of the device or poke at the inside of the hearing
aid with a needle or similar object.
• Maintain your hearing aid regularly. Make sure there are no foreign objects
in between the earplug and headphones, as this could impair the sound.
• Do NOT use the device if it has been dropped or otherwise damaged.
• Switch the device off after every use and before every cleaning.
• Service your hearing aid at regular intervals. Make sure there are no for-
eign objects in between the earplug and headphones, as this could im-
pair the sound.

3. Battery Handling Safety Precautions

• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
• Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries. Rever-
sed batteries may cause damage to the device.
• Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-
zinc or rechargeable batteries) or old batteries with fresh ones. Always
replace batteries as a simultaneous set.
• If the batteries in the device are depleted or the device will not be used
for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or inju-
ry from possible battery leakage.
• Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can
overheat and rupture (follow battery manufacturer's directions.)
