11.10. Updating the inverter firmware

There are several methods to update the inverter firmware.
Updating via a web browser

In order to carry out this process the inverter must be connected to the Internet and have access to the
Ingeteam servers.
1. Open the web application from the device's browser.
2. Open the Update menu. If there are any updates available they will be listed.
3. Press Upgrade to install the updates.
Updating via INGECON SUN Manager
1. From the Ingeteam website, download the file ABS1005IJU01##.bin, which contains the latest firmware
version.
2. In the top File menu in INGECON SUN Manager, click on Access level.
3. Enter ingeconinstaller and accept.
4. In the top Utils menu, open Comm Board Firmware Upgrade.
5. Load the file ABS1005IJU01##.bin in the field Firmwarization File.
6. Enter the inverter user. This username is displayed on the label on the inverter.
7. Select the type of connection (local or remote) and complete the required fields.
8. Press Add Module to Queue.
9. Press Start. The inverter update process starts.

11.11. Resetting the Wi-Fi communication

If the Wi-Fi communication is not correct or there is a fault in the inverter's registry in the communication, we
recommend performing a reset. To do this, press the Wi-Fi button on the inverter control panel three times for at
least one second for each press.
This operation can also be done using the button in the control application.
Once the process has been completed, the communication network reconnects.

11.12. Restoring communication to factory settings

This factory reset only affects the communication configuration, and other inverter configurations are not
restored when following this process.
If you wish to restore the factory settings of the inverter communication, press the Wi-Fi button for at least ten
seconds, until the communication LED starts flashing quickly. Once the restore finishes the LED stops flashing.
This operation can also be done using the button in the control application.
