Large numerical field
Indication of temperature values in measuring
mode. Use the arrow key to choose between
different temperature parameters like air-
temperature, surface-temperature, dewpoint-
temperature and delta T.
During menu-mode other messages can occur
in this field.
Centigrade symbol
Indication of the temperature in degree
Centigrade.
Fahrenheit symbol
Indication of the temperature in degree
Fahrenheit.
Ambient temperature symbol
Indication of the ambient/air temperature in the
large numerical field.
Surface temperature symbol
Indication of the surface temperature in the
large numerical field.
Dewpoint symbol
The calculated dewpoint temperature is
indicated in the large numerical field.
Delta T symbol
The delta T (difference between Dewpoint- and
Surface temperature) is calculated and indicated
in the large numerical screen.
Text Field
In the menumode the menu-texts are indicated
in the text field.
In de measuringmode the date is indicated in
this field.
When operating in Centigrade the date-format
is day/month/year.
When operating in Fahrenheit the date format
is month/day/year.

MEASURING, THE MEASURING-MODE
When switched ON the instrument starts up in
the measuring-mode.
The instrument measures three different
parameters; ambient-temperature, surface-
temperature and relative humidity.
With these values dewpoint-temperature and
delta T are being calculated.
Using the arrow keys these different
parameters are shown in the display.

3.1 Relative humidity

The measured relative humidity is visible during
all measurements.
The humidity sensor is located behind the grid
on top of the instrument. For a correct
measurement the airflow through the grid should
not be obstructed. During indication of relative
humidity the %RH symbol is visible in the small
field.
3.2 Ambient temperature
The first parameter in the range of temperature
measurements is the ambient-temperature.
The sensor for measuring the air-temperature
is also located behind the grid on top of the
instrument. This sensor measures the air
temperature in its immediate surrounding and
therefore it is important to keep things that may
affect the air temperature such as fingers away
from this spot.
Also it is recommended to grant the instrument
some time to acclimatise once the instrument
is brought from a cold environment into a warm
place or vice versa.
The ambient-temperature symbol is visible and
the measured value appears in the large field
