reflected in the coil of the hearing aid. The coil transmits the signal of the loop to the in-
ternal amplifier of the prosthesis, which will then bring it to the ear of the hearing-impaired
person - free of environmental disturbances.
The sound source can be anything. In a cinema, for example, the sound of the film will be
fed into the loop. In a conference room, its the sound of the orator's microphone. In a train
station, the voice of the station master, etc.
The loop can be installed at the floor or ceiling level, more precisely between 1.20m and
1.70m from the listening height (ears). Therefore it is to be considered if the potential
audience is standing or seated. The loop is integrated in the building, as is the electrical
installation.
The presence of a hearing loop is often indicated by a blue or yellow symbol representing
a barred ear and a letter »T«.
Adhesive signs bearing this symbol are included in the package. Please use them to in-
dicate that hearing impaired people can benefit from the otherwise hidden installation of
the inductive loop.

4. Indicators, Connectors and Controls

4.1 Indicators

The loop driver incorporates a monitoring system which checks the main functions of the
device, such as the power amplifier, the integrity of the loop cable connected to the driver
and the inputs.
If one of the functions is faulty or does not work, an according LED on the front panel of
the amplifier lights up and the fault relay opens (NO).

4.2 Multi-loop output

The PRO LOOP D15 LOS driver has two 0° and 90° phase-shifted speakON outputs and
one IN-Input as well as an OUT-Output on the rear panel. (see image on page 25). These
features offer the possibility to link multiple drivers with each other.
Depending on the design of the layout, the aim is to control the external »overspill« of the
field and/or the homogenity of coverage in the coverage area.
This multiple output feature is important if an optimal loop system is to be achieved.

layout according to your project, please contact us at info@audioropa.com.
