12. Inspection plan

• Due to damaged, faulty or non-functional scaf-
fold elements, there is a risk of the user falling;
there is also a risk of the scaffold tipping over
during use.
• Persons using the scaffold may incur severe
injuries in event of falling.
• Objects may also be damaged if the scaffold
tips over.
During the regular inspection of the scaffolding, inspection points 1-4 should be taken into account.
If any of the tested points cannot be fully satisfied, you should NOT use the scaffolding.

Inspection points
Are there any contaminants (e.g. dirt, mud, paint, oil or grease) on the
scaffolding?
All assembly elements (screws, bolts, locking systems, etc.) must be
completely present.
Are assembly elements possibly worn out, loose, corroded or damaged?
Check all components for their trouble-free function, strength and
completeness.
Are components possibly bent, curved, twisted, dented, torn,
corroded, rotten or have any other damage?
Are the castors in a faultless condition?
Check the function, strength and completeness as well as for
damage and corrosion.
Are all labels present and perfectly legible?
