Intended purpose:

If there is a need for replacement, only components authorised by the manufacturer may be used.

To avoid loss of clamping force, one needs to clamp 2 x in the case of vices with way-dependent
power booster, e.g. toggle lever, hydraulic unit, to balance material displacement
Do not use the hand
crank for tension, but
only use it for the
span setting.
