Troubleshooting

Description of fault
Stereo microscope illumination
cannot be switched ON.
Additional reflected light
illuminators are not lit.
Transmitted light illuminator does
not light up.
Transmitted light illuminator dirty or
control lever cannot be actuated.
Microscope mount moves down by
itself.
In mode "Connection to existing
WLAN" ("Add to existing WLAN"),
Stemi 305 cam cannot be connected
to existing WLAN network.

Cause of error
Power supply interrupted.
Power switch not switched ON.
Power unit faulty.
Power supply cable RJ-12 not
plugged in.
Reflected light not switched ON or
dimmed.
Transmitted light not switched ON
or dimmed.
Transmitted light not connected.
Liquids or foreign matter in the
transmitted light unit.
Focusing drive too easy to move.
Existing WLAN SSID contains a dot,
e. g.: "TP-Link_02.4G".

Troubleshooting
Check or establish connection to
power supply. Switch power switch
on back of stereo microscope ON.
Replace power unit acc. to
operating manual Stemi 305.
Insert RJ plug correctly acc. to
operating manual Stemi 305.
Press and turn rotary button several
times to switch reflected light ON
and to increase its intensity; see
operating manual Stemi 305.
Press and turn rotary push-button
several times to switch transmitted
light ON and to increase its intensity;
see operating manual Stemi 305.
Open stand K EDU or K LAB and
connect the plug-in connectors of
the LED illumination, according to
the operating manual Stemi 305.
Open and stand K EDU or K LAB
and eliminate foreign matter
according to the operating manual
Stemi 305.
Set ease of motion of the focusing
drive, see operating manual
Stemi 305.
Please rename the WLAN so that the
WLAN SSID only consists of letters,
digits, hyphens and underscores,
e. g.: "TP-Link_02_4G".
