11. Weather Station Operation

a) Searching for Outdoor Sensor(s)
The delivery includes the combined outdoor sensor with integrated rain sensor, wind speed and wind direction sensor,
as well as temperature and humidity sensor.
Up to two additional outdoor sensors for temperature/humidity can be ordered as accessories.
If the weather station does not find one of the outdoor sensors (e.g. in case of bad reception conditions or after a
battery change), you can start search for the outdoor sensor or sensors manually.
For this, keep the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) pushed for about 3 seconds until the corresponding displays
start flashing.
The sensor search takes approx. 3 minutes. Do not move the weather station during this time and do not press any
button.
If an outdoor sensor is still not found yet, check its batteries; place the outdoor sensor in another location,
lower the distance between the weather station and the outdoor sensors.
b) Setting Mode
Here, all settings of the weather station can be made, e.g. 12h-/24h-mode, time zone, manual time/date setting,
selection of the units for temperature, wind speed, rain volume and barometric pressure.
Premature termination of setting mode is only possible by not pushing any button for a few seconds.
Alternatively push the button „MODE/SET" (2) until no display flashes anymore.
Start setting mode by keeping the button „MODE/SET" (2) pushed for about 3 seconds until the icons for the weather
forecast flash in the upper left of the display.
Setting icons for weather forecast
• For the weather forecast to work precisely, set the current weather with the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) or
„MEM/-" (4).
• Briefly push the button „MODE/SET" (2). „24Hr" or „12Hr" now flashes in the display.
Selecting 12/24h Mode
• Use the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) or „MEM/-" (4) to choose between 12h and 24h mode.
In 12h mode, „AM" is displayed to the left of the time during the first half of the day, „PM" during the second half of
the day.
• Briefly push the button „MODE/SET" (2). The display „D M" or „M D" now flashes below the date in the display.
Switching display order day/month or month/day
• Use the button „CHANNEL/+/SEARCH" (3) or „MEM/-" (4) to switch between the order „D M" (day/month) or „M D"
(month/day).
• Briefly push the button „MODE/SET" (2). „ZONE" and a figure flash in the upper right of the display.
