Some hearing systems can be connected to external signal sources
e.g. a radio or television via an audio input. For this you need an au-
dioshoe (accessory) attached to the hearing system. the attached
audioshoe is then connected to the external signal source using a
standard plug.
Please ask your hearing system specialist to tell you more about
this.

the hearing system is customised to your personal hea-
ring loss and must therefore not be used by other per-
sons.
If you use a hearing system with Open tip, please ensure
that the Open tip is sitting firmly on the Open tube before
inserting.
Before inserting, ensure that the earpiece is firmly fixed
on the tube.
If the earpiece gets left behind in the ear by accident, con-
sult your ear, nose and throat specialist to have it removed
from the auditory canal.
It is essential to replace damaged earpieces.
Have your hearing system regularly checked by your hea-
ring system specialist.
Protect the hearing system from knocks and from being
dropped.
Do not expose the hearing system to extreme heat, strong
sunlight or cold and protect it from moisture.
