Store the vacuum cleaner in a dry, cool indoor room that is not accessible to children
and animals.
Tips for practical storage:
• Push the telescoping tube as far as possible together and then mount the fl oor nozzle
on the telescoping tube if this has not already occurred. You can now hook the fl oor
nozzle onto the back of the device.
• Secure the adapter bracket on the telescoping tube and then clip the cushion nozzle
and the tile and brush nozzle into the bracket.

Remedying errors/disturbances

In the event your unit no longer functions, exhibits damages or requires a spare part,
please contact our customer service centre. For your own safety, do not perform any
repairs yourself. The following table gives you tips on how to resolve minor problems
yourself:

Possible cause/solution
• Has the mains plug been correctly inserted in the socket?
• Is the socket defective?
• Check the fuse for your mains connection.
• Is the dust bin full? Clean it.
• Is one of the fi lters heavily laden with dirt? Clean the fi l-
ters.
• Is the auxiliary air valve on the handle open? Close it.
• Use the suction power control to set the suction power.
• Is the dust bin full? Change it.
• Is one of the fi lters heavily laden with dirt? Clean the fi l-
ters.
• Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or suction hose plugged?
Disconnect the mains plug and remove the blockage.
• Have the fi lters been inserted correctly? Make sure they
are properly seated.
• Has the suction hose been properly inserted in the device?
Check the suction hose port.
• Is one of the fi lters heavily laden with dirt? Clean it.
• An odour often develops when using new devices for the
fi rst time. The odour should disappear once you have
used the device a few times.
