Changing the Password

Using a password prevents other persons from changing
Parental Control settings. A default password (0000) has been
set before shipment. Use the following procedure to change the
password.

Press the MENU button.
2 Press the c/d button to move to System, then press the
OK button.
3 Press the c/d button to move to Parental Control, then
press the OK button.
• Enter Password is displayed.

Enter your password by pressing the numeric buttons (0 – 9).

Select Change Password and press the OK button to
change your password.

Enter the current password by pressing the numeric
buttons (0 – 9).

Enter your new password by pressing the numeric buttons
(0–9), then re-enter to confirm.

• The Parental Control menu is displayed again.

Press the EXIT button.
• Take note of the newly set password and keep it handy.
We suggest you write down your password so you do not forget it.

If you forget the password

When the on-screen menu is not displayed, press the
INPUT button, then press "7", "2", "7" and "4" while the
function selection screen is displayed.
The password reverts to "0000".
