OUTDOOR AIR SUPPLY
This pellet stove can be supplied with combustion air from the outside of the building. To assure a
safe and correct operation of the pellet stove, the outdoor air shall be supplied through a duct with a
minimum clear cross-section of 28 cm2, or a 60 mm I.D. or larger steel pipe. The inlet of the air intake
duct or pipe must be protected with a wire mesh or grate to prevent ingress of foreign objects. The
wire mesh / grate shall not disturb or reduce the intake air draught. The air intake duct / pipe shall have
the inlet guarded against wind, rain and snow. The air intake duct shall be straight along its whole
length, with the exception of a 90° pipe bend at the inlet and a 90° pipe bend at the air intake port
in the bottom of the pellet stove. The room in which the pellet stove is to be installed shall feature a
gravity supply of fresh air (do not provide the fresh air with forced draught ventilation) at 10 m3/h per
each 1 kW of heating power.
Fig. 4. Combustion air intake ducting: a) Rear air intake port; b) Bottom air intake port

the instructions below to connect the combustion air supply to the bottom air intake port.
CAUTION:
Before repositioning the air intake port for the combustion air supply, the heating appliance
must be cold and isolated from power by unplugging the power cord.
