between the housing and the pressing head. On the pressing head
there is a warning against the danger of crushing during operation.

4.2. Short description of the unit's key features
The unit incorporates an automatic return function, which returns
the drive rolls to their starting position when the maximum
operating temperature is reached.
- The unit is equipped with a special brake which stops the forward
motion of the dies when the trigger (pos. 1) is released.
- The unit is equipped with a double piston pump which is
characterised by its rapid forward motion and slow pressing
motion.
- The pressing head (pos. 4) can be smoothly turned by 360° in
order to gain better access to difficult working areas (see pictures
3+4)
- The UP75 is controlled by a microprocessor which turns off the
motor when pressing is complete, displays service intervals and
the charge level of the battery (pos. 7), and carries out error
diagnosis.
4.3 The LED Display
The LED display works in conjunction with the electronic
controller of the unit, and provides information about the current
status of the battery and the unit. The display is activated in the
following cases.
-
When the battery is being inserted into the unit, the display
flashes a few times. This indicates that the electronic controller
is successfully performing its self-test.
-
If the display lights up continuously for around 20 seconds
after a pressing job, the battery is discharged and needs to be
recharged.
-
If, after a certain period of time, the display always flashes for
around 20 seconds at the end of a pressing job, the unit is due
for servicing, and should be sent to the factory as soon as
possible.
-
If an error occurs, the display will also flash at the end of a
pressing job. In this case, the flashing indicates the response of
the electronic controller. One possible reason for this is an
attempt to perform pressing with an unacceptably low battery.
If the display continues to flash even after the battery has been
changed, then there is either a different error or a service is due.
In this case the unit should be sent to the factory.
-
If the display lights up continuously for 20 seconds and flashes
afterwards, then a service is due and, at the same time, the
battery is discharged.
