Instruction Manual UP 75
______________________________________________________________________________
Do not leave the charger in rain or snow. Do not charge the
battery in the proximity of highly flammable materials or gases.
Do not carry the charger by its mains cable, and do not use force
to pull it out of the mains socket. Do not put any objects into the
ventilation ducts of the charger.
Batteries may only be charged in the charger supplied by the
manufacturer.
Attention
Do not put the battery in your pocket or in your
toolbox, if they contain any conductive materials,
such as coins, keys, tools or other metallic objects.
After charging, pull the plug out of the mains socket. Do not
dismantle the charger.
To ensure the safety and reliability of the charger, all repairs and
servicing must be carried out by our Service Centre.

5.6. Storage and Transportation of the pressing unit

To protect the pressing unit from damage, it must be cleaned after
use and put into its transportation case, which must be securely
fastened.
This case also contains a spare battery, the charger and the
instruction manual.

6. Troubleshooting

a) Constant flashing of the LED display at the end of a pressing
cycle:
Change the battery (pos. 7) If the display continues to be lit
up, the unit should be returned to the manufacturer (see
section 4.3)
b) The pressing tool is leaking oil:
Return the unit to the manufacturer. Do not open the unit or
remove its seal.
c) The motor does not switch off and no automatic retraction
takes place.
Stop the pressing process. Hold down the return button (pos.
2) and at the same time press the operating switch for around
10 seconds. If this does not eliminate the error, the unit
should be returned to the manufacturer.

7. Decommissioning/Waste Disposal

The individual components of the unit must be disposed
ofseparately. When doing this, the oil should be drained first and
disposed of in a designated place.
Attention
Hydraulic oils can contaminate ground-water.
Unsupervised draining and incorrect disposal are
illegal under Environmental Liability Laws.
Next, the battery should be disposed of according to the relevant
regulations.
For the disposal of the remaining parts, please observe the EC
Environmental Guidelines.
Because of possible damage to the environment, we recommend
that the disposal of the unit is carried out by a professional
company. We cannot provide a free return of the unit to the
manufacturer.
