Draining primary water tank:
a) Ensure that unit is unplugged from the power
supply .
b) Remove the rubber plug from the water out-
let located at the rear base of the unit (fig. 6) .
NoTE: When the rubber plug is removed,
water may drain!
c) For continuous operation, connect the trans-
parent drainage tube (included in delivery) to
the water outlet (to avoid losing the rubber
plug, place it on the pin next to the water
outlet) .
The other end of the drainage tube must be a
maximum of 7 cm higher than the water out-
let so that the water can drain continuously .
d) During continuous operation, the acoustic
and visual symbols for the built-in tank
are deactivated . The unit now operates
continuously .
NotE: the primary water tank must be emp-
tied before transporting or storing the unit.
5. Defrost mode:
When operating the unit at low room tem-
perature (less than 15°C), the surface of the
evaporator will accumulate ice and reduce
the efficiency .
The compressor runs for 40 minutes and then
stops for 10 minutes while the unit defrosts . In
defrost mode, the yellow indicator "ABTAUEN"
is illuminated . After 10 minutes, the unit starts
again, and the yellow indicator "ABTAUEN"
goes off . The unit runs for another 40 minutes,
and the defrost cycle then repeats .

CLEANING AND MAINtENANCE

Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning
the unit, make sure that the power to the unit is
turned off and the power plug is removed from
the socket .
Other than cleaning the filter, there are no other
parts contained in the unit that can be serviced
by the user .
1. Cleaning the filter:
a) The filter must be cleaned at regular inter-
vals . The cleaning intervals depend on the
amount of dust, but we recommend cleaning
the filter after every 100 hours of use (more
frequently in dusty conditions) .
b) You can access the filter by removing the
cover of the air intake (on the side of the
unit) (fig. 7) . Remove the cover by pulling it
horizontally from the unit .
this air dehumidifier cannot be used in
dusty / dirty rooms. If used in such rooms,
the warranty is voided.
(fig. 7)
c) To remove the filter, pull down the two tabs
at the top of the filter assembly and remove
the filter assembly .
d) You can either clean the filter with a vacuum
cleaner or wash it under cool running water .
Allow to dry thoroughly before replacing the
filter assembly in the unit . Avoid cleaning the
filter with cleaning agents that contain alcohol .

ble supply socket and switched on again .
2. Cleaning the outside of the unit:
a) Do not clean the unit with any abrasive
cleaning agents or solvents .
b) Do not apply any water directly to the unit
for cleaning . Use only a soft, clean cloth for
all cleaning purposes .

StoRAGE

time, the primary water tank must be emp-
