swItChInG off the
aPPlIanCe
Press the ON/OFF ( ) button to
switch off the device . The select-
ed target relative humidity and
fan speed settings are saved for
the next use of the unit .
If you will not use the appliance
for a longer period of time, un-
plug the device and empty the
water tank as indicated under
"full water tank" . The next
time you switch on the device,
follow the steps indicated un-
der „operating instructions" .

If the water tank is emptied
manually, the extracted humid-
ity is collected in the water tank .
If the water tank is full, the in-

dicator ( ) illuminates red, you
will hear an acoustic signal to
indicate that the water tank is
full and the appliance stops de-
humidifying . Please remove the
water tank and empty it . After
emptying the water tank and re-
inserting it correctly, restart the
dehumidifier by pressing the
ON/OFF button ( ) . The selected
fan speed and target relative hu-
midity are set .
The water in the tank is very
clean and virtually free of lime
and minerals . You can use the
water in your steam iron .
draInaGe tube
If you use the dehumidifier in a
room with a drain, you can drain
the water directly . Remove the
rubber stopper at the back of the
device and insert it in the hole
above the water tank .
Connect a standard ½ inch drain-
age tube to the water outlet and
place the other end at the drain .
attentIon: the drainage tube
may not block the water flow!
defrostInG
If the device operates at low tem-
peratures (below 15 °C), ice forms
at the condenser which reduces
the performance of the dehu-
midifier . The compressor stops
for several minutes while the fan
is still running . The device auto-
matically restarts and runs until
the defrosting cycle is repeated .
CleanInG and
maIntenanCe
Always unplug the appliance
before carrying out any main-
tenance or cleaning the unit .
But for cleaning the air filter, no
components may be maintained
by the user .
CleanInG the aIr fIlter
The air filter has to be cleaned
regularly . The cleaning intervals
depend on the level of dust . How-
ever, it is recommended to clean
the air filter every 100 hours (more
often if it is very dusty) .
The dehumidifier may not be used
in dusty or dirty rooms, otherwise
warranty claims become void .
To clean the air filter, remove the
cover of the air inlet at the back of
the appliance . Pull upwards and
remove the filter from the frame .
You can now vacuum the filter
fleece with a vacuum cleaner
and rinse it under running water .

Let the filter fleece completely
dry before reinserting the filter!
Reinsert the air filter bottom-first
and snap it into place .
You can now reinsert the power
plug and switch on the unit .
Never use the device without the
air filter!
CleanInG the exterIor of
the aIr dehumIdIfIer
Do not clean the unit with any abra-
sive cleaning agents or solvents .
Use a slightly damp soft clean
cloth to wipe the unit . Never
spray the device with water .
storInG the deVICe
If you will not use the appliance
for a longer period of time, no wa-
ter may remain in the unit .
Make sure to empty the water
tank and to remove the rubber
stopper from the water outlet .
Clean the air filter and reassemble
the unit .
Cover the device and store it in a
dry place .
