To select the voice navigation language
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can select the language for the
voice navigation in the voice command registration process. When this unit is shipped from
the factory, "English" is selected.
• English: English navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into
the system.
• French: French navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into the
system.
• Spanish: Spanish navigation will be heard while registering your voice commands into
the system.
Note:
If "VOICE/BEEP" is set to "BEEP," you cannot hear the voice navigation. (See below.)
To select the voice navigation or beep sound
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can select either the voice
navigation (see above) or the confirmation beep, which is heard in response to the given
commands. When this unit is shipped from the factory, "VOICE" is selected.
• VOICE: English, French, or Spanish navigation will be heard in response to the given
commands.
• BEEP: Confirmation beep sound will be heard in response to the given commands.
To change the Voice Recognition System operation mode
VOICE WORD
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can only use the Operation
Commands (in the Standard Word mode).
If you want to use the other Access Commands or to make the Voice Recognition System
accept only your own voice as a command, change the Voice Recognition System operation
mode.
• STANDARD: The System recognizes and accepts the Operation Commands anyone
speaks (in English).
• USER: The System only recognizes and accepts your voice both for the Operation
Commands and the Access Commands.
Note:
When you register your voice for the Operation Commands or preset the Access Commands, you
have to select "USER" before you start.
To adjust the voice navigation volume
When the voice control unit is connected to the receiver, you can adjust the voice navigation
volume level (00 – 50).
When shipped from the factory, the voice navigation volume level is set at level 15.
