CHECKING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER
Is the battery check sign + –
the remote control switch within
Check the indoor unit indicating P.W.B.
If it is good, check the control P.W.B.
You can check the remote control switch by
other methods as explained below.
Using the test card
The sensible area should flash in orange when you
operate the remote control unit if it is good.

Is battery polarity correct?
Yes

No
Turn on an AM radio, bring
15 cm of the radio, and press
the ON/OFF button.
Does the radio buzz noisily?
Yes
Ultra redray test card
Sensible area
Within 2 cm
manuals search engine
No
Install the battery in the correct polarity.
Yes
Replace the battery.
No
Check the LED (D1) with
a multimeter.
"Buzz"
Within 15 cm
[AM radio]
Check functions again.
If it does not work, replace
the remote controller.
