Problem
Coff ee does not come out or
drips only.
Coff ee fl ows out of the edges.
Please contact an authorised service centre for any problems not covered in the above table or when the suggested
solutions do not solve the problem.
Possible Causes
No water.
The grind is too fi ne.
Coff ee tamped in the fi lter holder.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter holder. Reduce the quantity of coff ee in the fi lter holder.
Knob (3) is open.
The machine has limescale build-up.
The fi lter in the fi lter holder is clogged.
Not suitable pod.
The fi lter holder is not correctly inserted in
the brew unit.
The upper rim of the fi lter holder is dirty.
Pod inserted incorrectly.
There is too much coff ee in the fi lter holder.
Solution
Fill the water tank and prime the circuit again (section 4.5).
Use a diff erent blend (chapter 6).
Shake the ground coff ee.
Close the knob (3).
Descale the machine (chapter 10).
Clean the fi lter (chapter 9).
Change type of pod.
Insert the fi lter holder correctly (chapter 5).
Clean the rim of the fi lter holder.
Insert the pod correctly. Make sure it does not come
out of the fi lter holder.
Reduce the quantity of coff ee using the measuring
scoop.
