Mains operation

A mains connector socket is located on the rear side of
the unit. If you wish to operate the unit from the mains,
use only the boso-power supply pack (order num-
ber: 410-7-150). This power supply pack produces a
stabilized output of the correct polarity specially de-
signed for use with the boso-medicus unit. Other com-
mercially available power supply units may damage the
electronic components and lead to the guarantee beco-
ming void.
Please remove the batteries before operating the unit
from the power supply pack.
Occasionally faults in the mains network may cause too
high a pulse rate to be indicated. If the beeping sound
becomes irregular despite the fact that the pulse rate is
steady, the measurement should be repeated (if prob-
lems persist, switch to battery mode).
