Reading the display

As soon as the unit registers the first beats, the
symbol blinks in time with the pulse rhythm and an
acoustic signal can be heard.
The end of the measurement is indicated by a long
beeping sound. At the same time, the built-in solenoid
valve opens automatically to rapidly release the remain-
ing pressure in the cuff.
The measurement readings shown in the display.
Systole mmHg
Diastole mmHg
Pulse/min.
The unit switches off automatically after approximately
one minute. To repeat a measurement, press the
START/STOP button again.
If you do not want to take a further measurement, re-
move the cuff from the arm.
Enter the readings into the blood pressure log book.
The readings will be displayed for one minute. Then the
unit switches off automatically.
Aborting a measurement:
A blood pressure measurement should not take longer
than two minutes. A measurement can be aborted at
any time by simply pressing the START/STOP button
which automatically deflates the cuff. (To perform an-
other measurement press the START/STOP button
again.)
