Round duct shutter motorised – RVMD..
NOTE!
In case of strong vibrations and/or odours, maintenance must be carried out by a specialist according to
chapter 1.5.
All of the following information and instructions are intended solely for
authorised electricians!
5.1 Installation

DANGER!
Touching live parts will lead to electric shock.
Isolate the unit from the mains power supply before connection!
During installation, the applicable occupational safety and accident prevention regulations as well as the safety require-
ments of the Equipment Safety Act must be observed. Suitable protective equipment should be used.

Danger to life due to electric shock!
All work on/in the unit may only be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with chapter „1.5 Person-
nel qualification" on page 2.

The round duct shutter RVMD.. can fall down
Secure the round duct shutter RVMD.. to prevent it from falling
m CAUTION!
Fingers can be crushed between the drive and the shaft of the round duct shutter RVMD...
Placement, arrangement must be out of reach of laymen. Wear personal protection equipment.
Please ensure that the backdraught shutter is installed in the correct position, the arrow on the housing corresponds
to the direction of flow.
For the installation of insulation on site, the servomotor mounting has been designed so that a casing up to 50 mm
thick is possible.
Integrated into the ductwork on both sides or integrated into the ductwork on one side and open side protected
against accessibility.

Electrical connection / Start-up

Touching live parts will lead to electric shock.
Isolate the unit from the mains power supply before connection!
Carry out all work in a de-energised state. The electrical connection may only be carried out by an authorised electrician
according to the wiring diagram enclosed with the unit.
The relevant safety, installation and maintenance regulations must be observed. The rated voltage and frequency must
correspond to the rating plate information.
– The electrical connection and initial start-up must only be carried out by qualified electricians
according to the information in the attached wiring diagrams.
– All relevant standards, safety regulations (e.g. DIN VDE 0100), as well as the technical connection conditions of
energy suppliers are to be adhered to!
– A multipole mains section switch/isolator, with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm (VDE 0700 T1 7.12.2/
EN 60335-1) is mandatory!
– Network configuration, voltage and frequency must be consistent with the rating plate information.
– Check the waterproofing of the connection cable and tight clamping of the strands
– Metal cable screws must not be used when connecting to plastic terminal boxes.
– Insert the supply line so that no water can get in along the cable in case of water exposure.
– Check designated use
– Check solid mounting and professional electrical installation of round duct shutter RVMD.
– Check all parts for tightness, particularly screws, protection guards. Do not loosen screws in the process!
