FIG. 2
STARTING AND SWITCHING OFF
The hot air gun has two temperature modes.
Put the selector in position "I" for low
temperature (400°C) and position "II" for high
temperature (600°C). Put the power switch in
position "0" to switch off.
FIG. 3
REMOVING PAINT
Heat the paint until it begins to soften. Do not
point the outlet too long at the same point,
this can damage or burn the surface. When
the paint has softened, scrape it off with a
suitable scraper in the direction of the grain in
the wood. Practise to find a suitable heating
time for the required result. Scrape off the
paint as soon as it softens, otherwise it will
harden again. Do not allow paint residue to
accumulate on the product – risk of ignition.
Work from up and down on vertical surfaces, so
that impurities do not drop into the nozzle.
WARNING!
Always be very careful when removing paint.
Flaking paint, residue and fumes may contain
lead, which is poisonous.
IMPORTANT:
The product is not suitable for removing
paint on metal window frames because the
conductive capacity of the metal can deform
the frames and crack the glass.
MAINTENANCE
Always keep the tool and the ventilation
openings clean to ensure safe and reliable use.
