10. Faults
In the event of any faults, first check whether the pressure sensor is mounted correctly,
mechanically and electrically.
Faults
No output signal
No/wrong output signal
Constant output signal upon
change in pressure
Deviating output signal
Signal span too high
Signal span too small
Signal span varies
Leakage at the process connection
If complaint is unjustified, the handling costs will be charged.
CAUTION!
If faults cannot be eliminated by means of the measures listed above, shut
down the pressure sensor immediately, and ensure that pressure and/or
signal are no longer present, and secure the instrument from being put back
into operation inadvertently.
In this case, contact the manufacturer.
If a return is needed, please follow the instructions given in chapter
11.2 "Return".

Replace connecting cable
Correct the power supply
Rectify the wiring in accordance
with the connection diagram
Replace instrument
Re-adjust zero point
Use instrument with cavitation and
pressure-spike protection
Rectify the power supply
Shield the instrument and cables,
remove source of interference
Ground the instrument
Damping (consulting by the
manufacturer)
Consult with manufacturer, if
required, replace instrument.
