i) Stopping the Vehicle
To stop driving, proceed as follows:
• Let go of the throttle/brake lever on the transmitter so that it goes into neutral position, and let the vehicle run out.
• Once the vehicle is stationary, switch off the speed controller (for switch position see figure in chapter 9. f).
Never touch the wheels or the drive mechanism, and make sure you do not move the throttle/brake lever at
the transmitter!
• Disconnect both drive batteries from the speed controller. Disconnect the connections completely.
• It is only now that the transmitter may be turned off.
Attention!
The motor, the speed controller and the drive batteries grow hot during operation! Do not touch these parts
immediately after operation. Danger of burns!
j) Fail-Safe Function of the Speed Controller
The speed controller has an integrated fail safe function.
If the transmitter signal fails (or if it has been forgotten to switch on the transmitter before the speed controller) the
speed controller deactivates the motor for reasons of safety.
The LED in the speed controller then emits fast flashes and the motor generates a sound signal every second (the
sound signal is generated by a brief activation of the motor).
