6.5 Installing the appliance
WARNING
Before installing, turn power OFF at the service panel.
Lock service panel to prevent power from being turned

ON accidentally.
Keeping the appliance level, insert it into the cabinet

cut-out from above.
Ensure that the sealing strip on the underside of the
‒
appliance cover does not move.
Push the appliance firmly into the cabinet cut-out from

above.
Ensure that the appliance is firmly positioned in the
‒
cabinet cut-out and does not move.
If the width of the cut-out is at the upper tolerance
‒
limit, secure one batten to each side of the cut-out, if
necessary.
Remove the two plastic parts on the appliance cover.

Align the appliance in the cabinet cut-out.
4.
Ensure that the appliance cover is lying flat against
‒
the countertop.
Ensure that the lower end of the mounting bracket on
‒
the perforation is at an angle of 90°.
