shows 45°)
- lock bevel locking lever N
- check for 45° between blade and table top with a mitre
square h
- if necessary, adjust the 45° block bolt AJ in the same
way as for 90° angle
- tighten block bolt AJ
•
Checking/adjusting parallelism between blade and mitre
gauge slots
! disconnect the plug
- raise the saw blade to the highest position rotating
height adjustment wheel Q CLOCKWISE
- mark a point on the saw blade body
- set a combination square to the edge of the mitre
gauge slot and the ruler touching the marked point
- rotate the saw blade and check the marked point at the
rear of the table j a
- if both measurements are not identical, adjust as
follows:
1. loosen wing nut AR
2. turn adjustment bolt AS CLOCKWISE or
COUNTERCLOCKWISE until the blade is parallel to
the mitre gauge slot j b
3. tighten wing nut AR

Checking/adjusting rip fence k
! disconnect the plug
! make sure that the checks/adjustments mentioned
above are performed before performing this
adjustment
! the rip fence must be parallel to the saw blade to
prevent kickback
checking/adjusting rip fence on position 1
- remove protective guard and riving knife assembly D
- raise the saw blade to the highest position by rotating
height adjustment wheel Q CLOCKWISE
- lock the rip fence G to position 1
- slide the fence to touch the blade and lock it
- the blade should contact the fence from front to back
- if not, loosen the fence post (on the back) with double-
ended allen wrench AC and slide it left or right
- firmly tighten the fence post on position 1
- loosen the indicator M with double-ended allen wrench
AC and slide it left or right to align with 0 on the WHITE
scale
- tighten the indicator M
checking/adjusting rip fence on position 2
- lock the rip fence G to position 2
- measure the distance from the blade (front and back)
to the fence
- both measurements should be 101.6 mm
- if not, loosen the fence post 2 (on the back) and slide
it left or right
- firmly tighten the fence post on position 2
checking/adjusting rip fence on position 3
- lock the rip fence G to position 3
- slide the fence to touch the blade and lock it
- the blade should contact the fence from front to back
- if not, loosen the fence post (on the back) and slide it
left or right
- firmly tighten the fence post on position 3
assemble protective guard and riving knife assembly D
! make a few test cuts with scrap material to check
the adjustments
•
Adjusting table insert C l
- the front of the table insert should be flush or a little
below the saw table; the back should be flush or a little
above the saw table
- if needed, the table insert can be adjusted with the 4
set screws (2.5mm hex key, not standard included)
•
Storage/transport
- to store the tool make sure that the end of the rail is not
extruding from the table top side z a
- remove the protective guard and riving knife assembly
D
- lower the saw blade
- wrap the cable around the cable storage hook U
- lift the tool by grasping the transport handle AB with the
table top facing towards you
- the removable components of the tool can be stored as
shown z b-d
! ! the riving knife for non-through cut AB can also
be stored as shown in z b
•
Mounting the table saw to the workbench with the four
mounting holes x a
! ensure the length of the wood screws or lag bolts
is long enough to securely fasten the table saw to
the workbench.
•
Mounting the table saw to a stand x b
Follow operator's manual included with SKIL folding
stand AT (not standard included) to assemble the stand
and install the table saw onto the stand.

- carbide tipped blades stay sharp up to 30 times longer
than ordinary blades
MAINTENANCE / SERVICE
•
Always keep tool and cord clean (especially the
ventilation slots at the back-end of the motor housing)
! disconnect the plug before cleaning
