8. Before commissioning
Connect compressed air source
m NOTE
The product may only be operated with cleaned, con-
densate and oil-free compressed air and must not ex-
ceed the maximum working pressure of 8 bar at the
device.
m NOTE
To enable you to regulate the air pressure, the com-
pressed air source must be equipped with a (filter)
pressure reducer.
Connect:
Push the nipple of your compressed air hose into the
quick coupling, sleeve automatically springs forward.
Separate:
Pull back the sleeve and remove the hose.
Connect accessories
Connect the accessory by connecting the quick cou-
pling of the supply hose with the plug nipple on the ac-
cessory. The locking mechanism is automatic.
m WARNING
When loosening the hose coupling, hold the coupling
piece of the hose with your hand to avoid injuries
caused by the hose recoiling.
The compressed air hose is also equipped with a quick
coupling with which the accessories can be connected
as described above.
Using the tyre inflation gauge
m NOTE
• The compressed air required to fill the tire must be
oil-free. No oiler may be connected in front of the
device. It is better to use your own compressed air
hose when working with the tire inflation meter, as
there may still be oil residues in other compressed
air hoses.
9.
Operation
Tyre inflation meter
The tyre inflator fulfils three functions:
1.
Measure
2.
Fill up
3.
Air release.
Measure
1.
Place the valve plug connection (2e) on the tyre
valve. To do this, press the lever to unlock the
clamping mechanism. As soon as you release the
lever, the plug clamps onto the valve.
2.
The pressure can be read off at the pressure
gauge. On the outer edge of the scale you will find
the unit bar (1bar = 100 kPa). In the inner edge of
the scale you will find the information for psi.
Filling
1.
Connect the quick coupling connector (2c) of the
tyre inflation gauge to a compressed air line.
2.
Place the valve plug connection (2e) on the tyre
valve.
3.
Press the trigger lever switch (2d). Compressed
air flows into the tire. When filling, the pressure
gauge shows a pressure slightly above the actual
tyre pressure. As soon as you release the trigger
lever, you can read off the actual tyre pressure on
the pressure gauge.
Drain
If the tyre pressure is too high, press the air release
button (2b) and slowly release compressed air. Lower
the tyre pressure to the desired value.
Air blow gun
1.
The air blow gun is equipped with a quick coupling
connection (1b). Connect the air compressor to the
blow-out gun via the quick coupling connection.
2.
Put the compressor into operation.
