8.7.1 PAIRING THE DEVICE WITH THE FM20 WIFI FENCE MANAGER USING A REMOTE

CONNECTION

When pairing the device via a remote connection, the energiser and Fence Manager need not be
in close proximity with one another. This means that the pairing can also be carried out at the
location where the device will later be used.

8.7.2 PAIRING THE DEVICE WITH THE FENCE MANAGER VIA A DIRECT CONNECTION

When pairing the device via a direct connection, the energiser and Fence Manager must be in
close proximity of one another.
1. Position the energiser near the Fence Manager.
2. Carry out the pairing procedure in the Fence Manager as described in the instruction manual
for this device.
3. Switch the energiser to Pairing mode.
• To do this, press the on/off button briefly to switch the energiser to standby mode.
• Then hold the on/off button pressed for more than five seconds until the LED on the energiser
starts flashing.
The device can be paired with the Fence Manager.
