INSTALLATION AND INITIAL SET-UP

7.1 INSTALLING THE ENERGISER
When choosing the installation site, observe the general safety instructions given in Chapter 2.
Choose a place where:
• good grounding is possible.
• the energiser can be hung securely and free from moisture.
• a continuous flow of water is prevented.
• children and animals cannot reach the device.
• the energiser is readily accessible.

• there is a correctly installed power socket within easy reach.

Risk of fire. Only install the device on a fireproof base.

Do not place the device on the ground. Choose a mounting location that is at 4
least 20 cm above the ground.

To avoid damage to the cable insulation, do not lay PVC cables at a temperature
below +5°C.
1. Fix the screws supplied in a place that fulfils the above criteria and in such a way that, after the
energiser is installed, it is situated at last 20 cm above the ground.
2. Screw the antenna into the SMA connector (9) and hang the energiser on the screws.

CONNECTING THE DEVICE AND SWITCHING IT ON

Do not use the device if it is visibly damaged.
The VOSS.farming XTREME duo RF can be powered either by
a 230 V mains connection (3) or by a 12 V battery (4), and is
fitted with two watertight screw connectors. It is preferable
to operate the device using mains power, but the option to
connect a battery as a substitute power source in the event
of a power outage is also available.
N OTI CE
The energiser must not be provided with a voltage exceeding 15 V via the 12 V
battery connection. If it is connected to a solar panel, a controller must be used.
The device must not be connected directly to a solar panel.
