BEFORE USING THE COMMUTE A.I.R. PRO ALWAYS
check that the COMMUTE A.I.R. PRO is fully functional.
In this respect, observe the following instructions.
• Be aware that carrying sharp or pointed objects may impair the protective function of all
protective devices.
• Do not carry glass bottles or explosive, flammable or corrosive liquids in your backpack.
• Ensure that all objects that could damage the protectors are not transported loose in the
backpack.
• Please note that a backpack that is too heavily loaded can potentially have a negative impact
on the centre of gravity when cycling.
Safety information
• Ensure that all straps, buckles and clip fasteners are tightly closed and not damaged.
• Observe the green LED on the chest strap triggering buckle, which indicates that
the MINERVA AIRBAG SYSTEM is functioning properly and ready for use.
• Be particularly vigilant to open the chest strap triggering buckle immediately after each ride,
thereby deactivating the system.
FOLLOWING DEPLOYMENT | FALL | IMPACT
After each deployment, fall or impact, check the functionality of the
COMMUTE A.I.R. PRO, in particular its protectors.
Ensure that the backpack, airbag and back protector are fully functional and that the protectors,
all straps, buckles and clip fasteners exhibit no physical damage. Visually check the airbag for
abrasion and damage, such as tears or cuts, and also check the triggering unit and inflator for
damage before refitting the system. If in doubt, contact EVOC Sports GmbH.
The back protector can be replaced as part of the Free Crash Replacements service. Servicing of
the MINERVA AIRBAG SYSTEM is associated with attendant costs.
