NOTE: In all cases, the original
plastic pump chamber
needs to be reused on the
replacement motor. If new
pump connector differs from
original connector, connect
appropriate adapter supplied
with pump. If needed, cut
and splice wires to obtain
desired harness length using
supplied butt connectors.
Additional conduit is included
to cover harness. Cut conduit
to desired length and wrap
around harness to protect
against wear.
STEP 1:
Remove air pump from vehicle by
removing clamps and screws.
STEP 2:
Separate motor and aluminum
housing from black plastic pump
chamber by removing the four
retaining screws.
STEP 3:
Remove the old gasket from around
the inside of the pump chamber.

STEP 4:
Make sure the new gasket is fully
seated. Use a thin layer of silicone
sealant between the gasket and
pump mating surface to secure
the gasket. Install the new motor
assembly to the pump chamber
using the new screws provided.
STEP 5:
Install the supplied rubber
grommets onto the original bracket
(if applicable). Then select and
install the correct wire harness
pigtail to match the connector in the
vehicle. Not all pigtail connectors
will be used. Use the included
connector clips if they match those
on the vehicle. If not, transfer the
clips from the old connectors.
STEP 6:
Reinstall the assembly into the
vehicle according to the factory
service manual.
