7. Connect the device to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
8. Hold button I or button II pressed down to switch on the device. If necessary, manually
adjust the speed using the speed controller.
9. Introduce the food which is to be cut up via the feed shaft in the lid using the plunger.
10. To remove the food, switch off the device by letting go of button I or button II and pull
the plug out of the plug socket. Take the motor unit off the lid and remove the lid. You
can now remove your food from the container.
11. Clean the device and accessories in the manner described in the "Cleaning and
Storage" chapter.

CAUTION!
❐ Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
❐ Danger of injury! The blades are sharp! Please take care when using the device:
Only ever grip the cutting inserts by the plastic parts. In particular when you change
the cutting inserts and the double blade, make sure that you do not touch the blades.
Always use a tea towel to remove the double blade to avoid any cut injuries!
❐ Clean the device after every use to prevent the formation of germs.
❐ Never touch the device, the cable or the plug with wet hands.
❐ To prevent electric shocks, make sure that the motor unit, the cable and the plug
cannot fall into water or other liquids and cannot come into contact with them.
❐ Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents and cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
❐ The motor unit is not dishwasher-safe!
Some foodstuffs such as carrots may cause stains on mixing cups. This is not
harmful to health and does not impair the functionality of the device.
1. Wipe the motor unit with a slightly damp, soft cloth and then dry it with a soft cloth.
2. Clean all accessories (not the motor unit) with clear, warm water and some mild
detergent or in the dishwasher. NOTE: All accessories can be cleaned in the
dishwasher. However, please note that frequent washing in the dishwasher may
make the blades become blunt and may scratch the mixing cups.
3. Store the device and all accessories in a clean and dry location out of the reach of
children.
