3. Insert the adapter with the double blade into the large mixing cup.
4. Pour the food that you want to chop up into the large mixing container or add the food
later on via the feed shaft in the lid using the plunger.
5. Place the lid onto the mixing container. Make sure that the lid is correctly locked in
place before you mount the motor unit onto the slot on the lid.
6. Place the motor unit into the slot on the lid such a way that the arrow marked on the
motor unit is opposite the opened lock symbol.
7. Turn the motor unit in the direction of the closed lock symbol until the motor unit locks
in place and the arrow marked on the motor unit points to the closed lock symbol.
8. Connect the device to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
9. Hold button I or button II pressed down to switch on the device. If necessary, manually
adjust the speed using the speed controller.
10. To remove the food, switch off the device by letting go of button I or button II and pull
the plug out of the plug socket. Take the motor unit off the lid and remove the lid. You
can now remove your food from the container.
11. Clean the device and accessories in the manner described in the "Cleaning and
Storage" chapter.

Use Of Cutting Inserts

• Cutting insert for thin or thick slices and sticks: Please note that these cut-
ting inserts have two cutting sides! Depending on how you place the insert
into the mixing container, i.e. which side is pointing upwards, you can cut
slices or sticks.
• The cutting insert for grating is ideal for grating vegetables, hard cheese
and chocolate.
1. Place the mixing container on a level, fi rm and non-slip base.
2. Insert the adapter (without the double blade!) into the large mixing cup.
3. Select one of the three cutting inserts and place the cutting insert with the relevant
cutting side pointing upwards onto the shaft of the adapter.
4. Place the lid onto the mixing container. Make sure that the lid is correctly locked in
place before you mount the motor unit onto the slot on the lid.
5. Place the motor unit into the slot on the lid such a way that the arrow marked on the
motor unit is opposite the opened lock symbol.
6. Turn the motor unit in the direction of the closed lock symbol until the motor unit locks
in place and the arrow marked on the motor unit points to the closed lock symbol.
2. Slide the double blade onto the adapter from above. Re-
move the double blade by pulling it up off the adapter
when you want to remove it.
Caution - danger of injury! Be careful when attach-
ing and removing the double blade! Make sure
that you do not touch the sharp edges! Always use
a tea towel to remove the double blade to avoid
any cut injuries!
