❐ Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands
and other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
❐ Danger of scalding! Never use the blender in hot oil or other boiling hot liquids.
❐ Danger of burns! Be careful when puréeing / chopping up boiled food. Always allow
hot food to cool down before you use the device to avoid burns.
❐ Do not use the device if it has visible signs of damage!

For Your Health

❐ The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device thoroughly before you fi rst use it (see the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter).
❐ Clean the device and all used accessories after each use to prevent germ formation
(see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

Proper Use

❐ Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If the device, the
cable or the plug shows visible signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not
use the device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water.
❐ If the device, the cable or the plug is defective, do not attempt to repair the device
yourself or replace any parts. In the event of any damage, contact our customer ser-
vice department.
❐ Only ever connect the device to a properly installed plug socket. The plug socket
must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains voltage must match the
technical data of the device. Only use proper extension cables whose technical data
corresponds with that of the device (see the "Technical Data" chapter).
❐ Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected cable. Do not allow
the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may become
caught and pull the device down.
❐ Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ In the event of damage / faults, switch the device off immediately.
❐ Use the device only if it is properly assembled and shows no visible damage.
❐ Do not use any other accessories. Only the accessory parts supplied by the manu-
facturer should be used.
❐ Use the device only in closed rooms.
❐ To prevent electric shocks, make sure that the motor unit, the cable and the plug can-
not fall into water or other liquids and cannot come into contact with them. Should the
device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull
the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
❐ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations,
moisture or direct sunlight.
