Switching the Device On and Off

Use As Blender

To prevent accidental splashing, always place the blending attachment into the
bowl containing food fi rst before you switch on the device.
1. Pour the food which is to be chopped up or blended into a bowl or the mixing and
measuring cup which is supplied.
2. Place the blender attachment onto the motor unit in such a way that the arrow marked
on the motor unit is opposite the opened lock symbol.
3. Turn the motor unit in the direction of the closed lock symbol until the blender
attachment locks in place and the arrow marked on the motor unit points to the closed
lock symbol.
4. Connect the device to a properly installed and easily accessible mains socket.
5. Hold button I or button II pressed down to switch on the device. If necessary, manually
adjust the speed using the speed controller.
6. Move the device slowly up and down inside the mixing and measuring cup until
everything has been chopped up or blended to your satisfaction.
7. After use: Let go of button I or button II and pull the plug out of the plug socket. Clean
the device and accessories in the manner described in the "Cleaning and Storage"
chapter.

Use With Potato Masher Attachment

This attachment is particularly suitable for mashing potatoes and for mashing up
other types of vegetables such as carrots, caulifl ower etc.
1. Prepare your vegetables by peeling them if necessary and cooking them in the usual
way. Allow the food to cool down a little before processing it any more to prevent
scalding.
2. Pour the food into a bowl.
You have two speed settings to choose from:
– Button I: low speed
– Button II: high speed
To switch on the device, press button I or button II and
keep it pressed down. Let go of the button to switch off
the device.
With the aid of the speed controller, you can also infi nitely
control the speed of the two speed settings.
