Searching for a place
POI near a place/route <Vicinity>
The System has a huge database of POIs (Point Of
Interest), such as restaurants, gas stations, hospitals,
etc.
You can search for a POI around the place where you are
now. While guided, you can also search for a POI near
the destination or along the route.

Select the area to search.
Local Within 12.5 mi (20 km) of your
current position or the position
selected on the map. If no POI
is found in this area, the System
expands the area to search.
Dest. Within 12.5 mi (20 km) of the
destination. If no POI is found in
this area, the System expands the
area to search.
On Route • On freeway: 180 mi (300 km)
along the route you are taking.
• Others: 15 mi (25 km) along the
route you are taking.

Select a category (1), then a sub-category
(2) for the POI.

• The System displays up to 50 POIs.
The search result is displayed.
