light (1) will illuminate. When the heat indicator light goes out, the device has reached
its operating temperature.
2. Place the food you want to cook on the bottom plate (4).
3. Close the device and keep it closed for a few minutes.
Please Note: If the heating indicator light goes out and lights up again, this means that
the device is interrupting the heating process. This maintains a constant temperature.
4. Remove the food when it is as cooked and as brown as you want it to be.
Please Note: Use only heat-resistant wooden or plastic utensils to remove the food.
5. After use, disconnect the device from the power supply and let it cool down before
cleaning it.

Cleaning and storage

PLEASE NOTE!
DANGER – Risk of Electric Shock! The device must always be disconnected from
the mains power before it is cleaned.
The device is not dishwasher-safe.
Never splash cold water on the grill plates during or immediately after use. This could
damage the non-stick coating!
Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaners, cleansing sprays or rough sponges or
knives for cleaning. These can damage the surface.
Clean the device immediately after every use to prevent the formation of germs. Do not
allow any food residues to dry on.
1. Make sure that the device has completely cooled down and has been disconnected
from the mains power!
2. Remove any food residues from the grill plates (4, 5).
3. Pull the fat collecting tray (3) out of the bottom part of the housing, empty it and clean
it with a little detergent and warm water or in the dishwasher.
4. Clean the grill plates with a wet sponge and a little mild detergent.
5. Wipe down the housing with a damp cloth.
6. Then dry off the device with a soft cloth.
7. Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is not accessible to children and
animals.
