Cleaning and storage

PLEASE NOTE!
Do not spray any cleaners directly on the device.
Never spray cold water onto the hot parts of the device during or directly after use.
This could damage the raclette device and the non-stick coating!
The device is not dishwasher-safe.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning sprays, rough spon-
ges or knives to clean the device. These can damage the surface.
1. After each use, remove all leftover food.
2. Rinse off the grill plate (1), the spatulas and the raclette pans (4) with a mild detergent
and clean, warm water. You can also clean the raclette pans in the dishwasher.
3. Wipe he rack for the raclette pans (3) and the heating element (2) off with a clean,
damp cloth.
4. Then dry off the device with a soft cloth.
5. Check the mains cable regularly for any damage. Never wrap the mains cable tightly
around the device (danger of the cable breaking).
6. Store the device in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct sunlight
and cannot be accessed by children or animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
Problem
