4.2 Installing the meter
Close the stop valves upstream and downstream of
the meter and depressurise the pipeline.
Remove the spacer or fitted meter (a small amount of
water may escape).
Remove old seals and clean sealing faces.
Thinly grease sealing faces (use acid-free grease).
Fit the newly supplied seals (the seals should not
intrude into the pipeline).
Install the meter so that the flow direction matches
the arrow direction on the housing.
Slowly open the stop valves in the flow and return.
Check the compression fittings and meter for
leak-tightness.
Turn the integrator to an easy-to-read position.
Press the button on the meter to switch on the display.
Fit lead seal to meter.
4.3 Changing the measurement insert (WE-
SAN E)
For approval purposes, a seal or sticker (user
seal) must be attached (between housing and
housing cover).
The meter tamper-evident seal must not be damaged!
A damaged seal will result in immediate invalidation of
the factory warranty and calibration/conformity.
