WARNING
This unit must be serviced by qualified personnel only.
Service by unqualified personnel may lead to electric
shock or burn.
Symptom
Light bulb not working.
Overhead heat is too hot.
Overhead heat is not hot
enough.
Base heat is too hot.
Base heat is not hot enough. BaSE HEaT control knob set too low.
No heat, but lights work.
No heat and no lights.

Probable Cause
Light bulb loose or defective.
Power Switch turned OFF.
Unit not plugged in or receptacle not working.
Internal overhead heat temperature control not
working properly.
Internal overhead heat temperature control not

Heating element not working.
Excessive air movement around warming unit.
BaSE HEaT control knob set too high.
Base heat thermostat control defective.
Base heat thermostat control defective.

TROUBLEShOOTING GUIDE

ELECTRIC ShOCK hAzARD: Turn OFF power switch,
unplug power cord, and allow unit to cool before
performing any cleaning, adjustments, or maintenance.
Tighten or replace light bulb. Use Hatco P/N 02.30.171.00.
move Power Switch to "On" position.
Plug in unit, have receptacle repaired by a certified electrician,
or use a different receptacle.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for assistance.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for assistance.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for assistance.
Relocate unit or redirect air movement (i.e. air conditioning
duct or exhaust fan) away from unit.
Replace sneeze guard with optional front access door
assembly to keep heat contained.
adjust BaSE HEaT control knob to a lower setting.
Contact authorized Service agent or Hatco for assistance.
adjust BaSE HEaT control knob to a higher setting.
