New external injector harness connectors are included with this kit only to replace damaged OE
connectors/wiring. Undamaged OE connectors/wiring can be used with this engine valve cover gasket.
This valve cover gasket kit fits either the driver or passenger sides of the engine. To replace damaged OE
connector(s)/wiring:
1. Cut the electrical tape on the damaged harness back about 4 inches from the connector. NOTE: Do
not remove entire OE harness with a single cut to avoid confusion during splicing.
2. Use wiring charts below to match new connector and wiring to OE harness. Splice one wire at a time,
and stagger the spliced connections for best results. If you are unable to identify the OE wiring order,
or the entire injector harness has been cut, use the factory service manual to identify each wire before
splicing in the new harness replacement.
