5) Open the abrasive belt
cover (A).
9) Connect the plug to the
socket.

Adjusting sanding pressure

To vary drum pressure on the floor, use the adjustment knob and proceed as follows:
1) Turn the adjustment knob (A) clockwise
to ecrease drum pressure on the floor.

6) Fit the abrasive (A) to the
drum (B) according to the
'Abrasive Assembly
Procedures' on page 18.
10) Standing behind the machine, release the safety lever (A) and press the start handle
(B) until the handle underneath is clasped (the motor will start). Keeping the start handle
pressed, release the knob (C) and push the drum control lever forwards (D). Commence
sanding operations.
2) Turn the adjustment knob (A) counter-
clockwise to increase drum pressure on the
floor.
7) Ensure the lever (A) is
engaged and the drum is
raised off the floor.

8) Close the abrasive belt
cover (A).
11) To stop the machine,
engage the drum control
lever (A) and release the
start handle (B), which will
immediately return to its initial
position.
