PLUMBING CONNECTION

The module must be connected to an ad-
equate hot water storage tank.
Prior to connecting the module, perform
the following:
- Thoroughly wash the system tubes in or-
der to remove any threading and welding
residues or any dirt which might hamper
the system's effi cient operation.
- Verify that the primary circuit pressure
does not exceed 3 bar.
- Verify that the fl ow temperature does not
exceed 85°C.
- Verify that the product is equipped with
all the necessary safety and operating
devices designed to guarantee the mod-
ule's correct operation.
- Verify that the expansion vessel capacity
is adequate for the amount of water con-
tained in the system.
PRIMARY CIRCUIT SIDE
The module must be connected to the pri-
mary storage tank by means of fl ow and
return fi ttings positioned as shown in the
picture.
These positions must be observed in order
to guarantee the module's declared hy-
draulic performance.
The module functions with ¾" male fi ttings.
The fl ow to the module must come from
the highest withdrawal point of the primary
storage tank, while the return must be con-
nected to the lowest inlet point. The mod-
ule is equipped with an air relief point at
the heat exchanger outlet in order to facili-
tate deaeration; however, a deaerator must
nonetheless be mounted on the highest
point of the primary circuit.
The module is equipped (standard feature)
with a 3 bar safety valve on the primary cir-
cuit so as to guarantee the circuit's safety
when operating with pressure.

The primary circuit fl ow tube should pref-
erably be as short as possible so as to
minimise the heat exchanger's heating
time. At all events, it is advisable to include
adequate insulation so as to limit heat dis-
persal in the environment.
Construct the circuit in a way that minimis-
es head losses, so as to optimally exploit
the module's performance.
SANITARY WATER CIRCUIT SIDE
The module must be connected to the wa-
ter mains in conformity to the laws in force
in the country of installation and the regu-
lations issued by local water supply com-
panies.
Along the cold water supply line, mount a
safety unit that complies with applicable
regulations so as to guarantee safety with
pressure and prevent pollution of the water
network.
The sanitary water recirculation kit (op-
tional) is equipped with a 6 bar safety valve
(standard feature). If the water network can
achieve higher values, a pressure reducer
must be mounted upstream of the system.
The module is connected to the water
mains by means of cold water inlet, hot
water outlet and recirculation (if present)
connections positioned on the lower side of
the module.
The relative positions are indicated in the
picture.
These positions must be observed in or-
der to guarantee the module's declared
hydraulic performance. The module func-
tions with ¾" male fi ttings.
The module is equipped - also on the sani-
tary water circuit side - with an air relief
point at the heat exchanger outlet to facili-
tate deaeration.
