Problem

8.1 Warning signal

The warning signals of the control and
signalling system of the appliance are dis-
played on the Visual Display.
The system will give out a signal if:
• An error has occurred in the operation
of the appliance. In case the electronic
system of the appliance cannot identify
the real temperature a sign will appear
on the temperature display.
Possible cause
The Temperature regulator
may be set incorrectly
The door does not close
tightly or it is not shut
properly
Food placed in the appli-
ance was too warm
Large quantities of food to
be cooled were put in at
the same time
There is no inside cool air
circulation
The Temperature regulator
may be set incorrectly
The appliance may be
switched off
Plug is not connected to
the mains socket properly
Power does not reach the
appliance
There is no voltage in the
mains socket (try to con-
nect another appliance into
it)
The appliance is in demon-
stration mode. (dEMo)

Solution
Set a lower temperature
Check if the door closes
well and the gasket is un-
damaged and clean
Allow food to cool to room
temperature before storing
Insert smaller quantities of
food to be cooled at any
one time
Provide inside cool air circu-
lation
Set a higher temperature
Switch on the appliance
Connect the mains plug
properly
Try connecting another
electrical device to the pow-
er outlet
Call an electrician
Keep the Mode button
pressed for approximately
10 second until a long
sound of buzzer is heard
and the display shuts off for
a short time; the appliance
starts working regularly
arrive at the spot and solve the prob-
lem, the appliance will continue operat-
ing with the help of a spare program.
