Installing a third bicycle

The third bicycle is installed in the same way as the first.
Note that all bicycles should be placed in opposite directions.
Caution
Fasten the holder (4) to the bicycle frame only as other parts of
the bicycle may otherwise become damaged. Ensure parts
such as gear cables and brake cables do not become
entrapped. Defective holders must be replaced immediately.
The third bicycle is secured to the second bicycle via the additional
holder (4).
Dismounting the bicycles
Holders (2), (3) and (4) are released and the bicycles dismounted
in the reverse order.
Tilting/folding back the cycle rack
Caution
Slowly tilt the cycle rack making sure no persons or objects are
located within the tilting range.
Any persons or objects located within the tilting range
may be crushed.
Make sure that the cycle rack engages fully with both hooks
when replaced and locks, otherwise it may tip downwards
during driving, thereby injuring other persons and/or causing
damage to property.

Tilting the cycle rack
The cycle rack can be tilted to open the rear lid/tailgate and load or
unload the vehicle.

Actuate the foot lever (32) and tilt the cycle rack (1) by pulling on
the rack's frame (7) or, if bicycles are installed, on the bicycle's
frame.
Caution
With the Uebler i21 cycle rack order no. 15930/15931
(90° opening angle version), the bicycle's handlebars may
be placed on the ground due to the greater opening angle.
Damage may then be caused to the handlebars.
Remove the bicycle when opening the rack if necessary.
Closing the cycle rack

1. Close the cycle rack (1) until both hooks (33) engage fully in
the frame (34) and lock it.
2. Check the cycle rack (1) is secure by shaking it back and forth.
If necessary, tilt the cycle rack (1) again and close it up again.
