43) LED light indicating that the display (42) shows
the wire feed rate for MIG welding. Manually
adjustable from 1.5 to 18.0 when using program
1. When using a spool gun (47), this function is
adjustable from 1.5 to 16.0.
44) LED light indicating that the display (42) shows
the wire feed rate for the crate filling. Manually
adjustable from 1.5 to 18.0 when using program
1. When welding at high power, a depression is
usually formed at the end of the weld (crater
crack). The crater filling function gradually reduces
the welding power / wire feed rate at the end
of the welding work, so that the crater can be
filled with a lower power level. When using the
2-stroke setting, the crater current is started when
the switch is released. When using the 4-stroke
setting, the crater current is started when the
switch is pressed during welding. The system
stays on the finishing level for crate filling until
the switch is released. If the switch is released
immediately, the crate filling function is terminated.
45) LED light indicating that the display (42) shows
the welding current. The value to be set is variable
and depends on the selected synergic program.
46) When the integrated water cooler is switched on,
the system uses a pressure sensor. If the coolant
pressure is too low, this LED lights up and no
welding current is generated. This way the welding
torch and the water cooler are protected.
47) LED light. It lights up when the Spool Gun switch
is on. This switch is located in the wire feed unit
(65).
48) LED light to indicate that the thermostat is
activated.
49) Push-button for Gas Test. When this button is
pressed, the gas starts to flow. When the button
is released, the gas output stops. When the torch
switch is pressed, the gas flows for 15 seconds.
After this, the gas output stops automatically.
50) Push-button for manual feed-through. This
allows the wire to be fed, without any current or
voltage. Pressing this button will feed the wire at
a constant rate. When this button is released, the
wire feeding stops immediately.
51) Water cooling or air cooling selection
button. Use this selection button to select 'water
cooling 'option' (52), if you want to switch on
the water cooler and use a water-cooled torch.
Select the 'air cooling 'option' (53), when using an
air-cooled welding torch. The water cooler is then
switched off. Note: The welding machine comes
standard with a water cooler and, optionally, with
a water-cooled MIG welding torch or a TIG welding
torch. Working with a water-cooled welding torch,
without water cooling, can result in damage to the
welding torch. Damage to welding torches or parts
due to insufficient water cooling is not covered by
the warranty on the machine.
52) LED light indicating that the water-cooled mode is
switched on.
53) LED light indicating that the air-cooled mode is
switched on.

54) Selection button for 2-stroke or 4-stroke
mode (only to be used with LIFT TIG). TIG
2-stroke: With this setting, the torch switch needs
to be held down. TIG 4-stroke: This setting eases
the work when welding longer pieces. In this mode,
you can press the torch switch once and release it.
The welding current remains switched on and the
welding machine continues to supply protective
gas. If you press the torch switch again and release
it, the supply of gas and the weld ends.
55) LED light indicating that the 2-stroke mode is
switched on.
56) LED light indicating that the 4-stroke mode is
switched on.
57) Selector button for MIG parameter setting.
By pressing this button, the following parameters
(58 to 61) can be selected and set. The lighting
of the LED indicates which parameter has been
selected. The value to be set is also displayed on
the digital display (37). This value can be changed
by turning the control knob (62).
58) The LED lights up indicating that the display (37)
shows the gas pre-flow control setting. Adjustable
from 0.0 to 5.0. With the control knob (62), this
value can be changed. Time setting for gas pre-
flow before welding begins.
59) The LED lights up indicating that the display (37)
shows the gas post-flow setting. Adjustable from
0.0 to 10.0. With the control knob (62), this value
can be changed. Sets the time for gas delivery at
the end of welding.
60) The LED lights up indicating that the display (37)
shows the soft start setting. Adjustable from 0.0 to
5.0. With the control knob (62), this value can be
changed. This setting slows down the wire velocity
at the beginning of the weld, which improves the
performance at the start of the weld.
61) The illumination of the LED indicates that the
display (37) shows the burn back (time) setting.
Adjustable from 0 to 10. With the control knob
(62), this value can be changed. The burn-
back setting controls the short time the wire
feed continues after the main welding current
is stopped. In this way, the wire does not stick
and the wire always protrudes with the correct
length. If the wire feed and the welding current
are stopped at exactly the same time, the wire
will remain warm and will burn back and stick to
the material. If the burn-back is adjusted too high
after the welding is stopped, the wire will protrude
too far from the gas nozzle. This must first be
corrected before starting the next weld.
62) Multi-functional control knob. By pressing
the control knob the following parameters can be
selected and set. The lighting of the LED indicates
which parameter has been selected. The value to
be set is also displayed on the digital display (37).
This value can be changed by turning the control
knob.
63) Multi-functional control knob. By pressing
the control knob the following parameters can be
selected and set. The lighting of the LED indicates
which parameter has been selected. The value to
be set is also displayed on the digital display (42).
This value can be changed by turning the control
knob.
