3. GENERAL USAGE OF SAFETY SEAT
PARTS
3.1. using harness buckle
1. Open the safety harness by pressing the
unlocking button and put the straps to the sides.
(Fig.3.1.1.)
2. Put together the two fastening ends.
3. Attach them before inserting them into the
harness buckle. You should hear a click (Fig.3.1.2)
indicating the correct closure of the buckle.
3.2.Using and adjusting harness
Loosening the harness straps
1. To loosen the harness straps pull them at chest
level while pressing the harness adjustment button

straps and not the shoulder pads straps (b).

Tightening the harness

1. Pull forward on the harness straps to take up any
slack in the straps.
2. Pull the harness adjustment strap

to provide
tension and proper adjustment to the child's

body (Fig. 3.2.2.)
3. When the child is in place in the safety seat, make
sure the harness is tight, without compressing
the child's body.
3.3. Adjusting the height of the headrest
and harness
The correct adjustment of the headrest and the
harness ensure correct placement of the child in
the safety seat. It should be adjusted so that the
harness of the safety seat (which moves along with
the headrest) is at the level of the child's shoulders
or slightly above these, never behind the back or at
the level of the ears (Fig.3.3.4.)
1. Find the headrest height adjuster

located on
the back of the safety seat (Fig.3.3.1.)
2. After loosening the harness, pull the adjuster
towards you and without releasing it, move it
up or down to adjust the height of the headrest
according to the height of the child (Fig.3.3.2
and 3.3.3). Harness height will be adjusted
simultaneously with the headrest.
3. Check that the height selected is appropriate for
the child's height. If it is not, readjust the height
of the headrest.
3.4. Adjusting the length of support leg
1. Unfold the support leg

located in the lower
part of the base of the safety seat (Fig.3.4.1.)
Important: You will hear a click that means the
support leg is in the right angle.
2. While pressing the leg adjustment button (K),
adjust the length accordingly (Fig.3.4.2.)
3. Extend the leg until it rests firmly on the floor
of the vehicle. The green support indicator will
appear indicating the correct position of the
support leg (Fig.3.4.3.)

3.5. Adjusting the recline position

This safety seat has 5 reclining positions for
Group 1 (facing forwards) (marked in red) and
an independent position for Group 0+ (facing
backwards) (marked in blue).
Reclining group 1 (facing forwards)
1. Check that the seat is facing forwards.
2. Press the reclining button
(F)
(Fig.3.5.1) and
while continuing to do so, pull or push the seat
downwards or upwards to select the desired
reclining position
(fig. 3.5.2).

Reclining group 0+ (facing backwards)
1. Once the safety seat is facing backwards, it will
adopt the corresponding reclining position
3.6. Rotation of the seat
This safety seat can rotate 360° on its base so that it
can face backwards (Group 0+) or forwards (Group
1) without having to uninstall it from the vehicle seat.
Backwards facing seat
(h)
1. Find the rotation lever
located in the front
side of the seat.
2. Pull the lever up and without releasing it, using
the other hand, turn the seat 180° so that it is
facing backwards (Fig.3.6.1 and Fig.3.6.2.).
3. You should hear a "click" indicating that the seat
is correctly fixed in the new position.
