5.2 FasTeNING THe CHIlD INTo THe CHIlD seaT

only GRoUp 1.
From approx. 9 months to 4 years of age (9-18 kg)
The correct adjustment of the headrest ensures that the child
is properly fastened into the car seat. The headrest must be
adjusted so that the harness (which moves with the headrest)
is at shoulder height on the child or slightly above, but never
behind the back or at ear level (fig. 1).
1. Pull the headrest height adjuster and move it to shoulder
height in accordance with the size of the child (fig. 2).

2. To loosen the harness straps, stretch the chest section while
holding down the harness adjustment button by inserting
your finger into the eyelet of the harness adjustment strap
(06) (fig. 3).
3. Open the buckle (04) in order to make it easier to place the
child in the seat. The harness straps may be placed on the
armrests while doing this (fig. 4).

4. Place the child into the seat.
5. Fit the safety harness around the child, using the buckle
(04) to fasten the two parts together until you hear a click
(fig. 5).
6. Stretch the harness adjustment belt in order to give the
harness the correct amount of tension (07). Remember that
in order to guarantee the child's safety, harnesses must be
well-tightened (fig. 6).

5.3 aDjUsTING THe HeIGHT oF THe HeaDResT

1. Loosen the 5-point harness of the child seat as much as
possible by pressing the harness adjustment button (07)
(fig. 1).
2. Pull the headrest height adjuster upwards (08) and lift to
the approximate height required (fig. 2). Place the child in
the seat and check the height of the headrest and harness
are correct. If the headrest is too high or too low, repeat the
process until it is at a suitable height for the child.

6.1. RemoVING THe HaRNess

only GRoUp 2/3.
From approx. 4 to 12 years of age (15-36 kg)
1. To loosen the harness straps, stretch the chest section while
holding down the harness adjustment button by inserting
your finger into the eyelet of the harness adjustment strap
(06) (fig. 1).
2. Pull the headrest height adjuster upwards (08) and lift the
headrest to its maximum height (fig. 2). The position of the
seat must be as shown in the picture (fig. 3).
3. Loosen the fasteners on the back cushion (fig. 4) and lift the
flap on the headrest and the back of the backrest upholstery
(fig. 5).
4. Tighten the harness straps by pulling the harness adjustment
strap (07) and place the shoulder protectors (03) in the
specially designed space as shown in the picture (fig. 6).

5. Lift the seat upholstery and place the harness buckle (04)
into the specially designed storage space (fig. 7).
6. Replace the backrest upholstery and return the headrest to
its original position (fig. 8).
7. Check that the headrest is at the correct height. If the
headrest is too high or too low, adjust it until it is at the
right height for the child.

6.2. CHIlD seaT INsTallaTIoN

CaUTIoN: Installation for group 2/3 is only required if
the seat has not been installed previously for group 1.
6.2.1. Installing the Isoclick Fix® adapters
1. Pull out the Isoclick Fix® adapters (11), turning them until
they are fully opened.
2. Place the child seat in the vehicle seat and push the Isoclick
Fix® system adapters up against the vehicle's isofix ,system
until they hook and close with a click (fig. 1 and 2). The
Isoclick Fix® system indicator will turn partially green.
3. Shake the child seat to ensure that it is anchored securely
and has been fitted correctly (fig. 3).
