Seeing the S-Log image
in natural brightness
(S-Log Disp. Assist)
This unit can display the S-Log
image with brightness and
contrast near to the actual image,
making it easier to focus or
monitor.
Press the MENU button and then
choose [S-Log]  [ON]
The screen displays the S-Log
Disp. Assist.
Selecting [OFF] will return the
display to the normal screen.
Notes
• S-Log Disp. Assist, S-Log Disp.
Assist Type and S-Log Disp. Assist
Gain Adjustment are the functions
set for image input to this unit.
These functions are not for
operating the camera connected
to this unit.
• The color displayed in S-Log Disp.
Assist is simply transformed.
The following settings can be
changed while the image is
displayed in S-Log Disp. Assist.
Set the curve in S-Log Disp.
Assist (S-Log Disp. Assist
Type)
 Press the MENU button and
then choose [Advanced
Settings]  [S-Log Type].
 Choose [S-Log2] or [S-Log3].
Set the brightness in S-Log
Disp. Assist (S-Log Disp.
Assist Gain Adjustment)
 Press the MENU button and
then choose [Advanced
Settings]  [S-Log Gain].
 Choose either [+2], [+1], [0],[-1]
or [-2].
S-Log Disp. Assist Gain
Adjustment: For example, if the
image that the camera took at
about -2Ev brightness level is
input to this unit, you can adjust
its brightness to about +2Ev, by
choosing [+2].
